On WABE’s “City Lights” series “Speaking of Music,” local musicians share work and stories in their own voices. In today’s segment, we feature honky tonk and “space cowboy” singer-songwriter Sean Thomason from East Atlanta Village.
“It’s kinda hard to say exactly what genre my music is, but it definitely has country elements, with honky tonk and rockabilly following close behind,” says Thomason. “Some people may call me alternative country or Americana. I don’t really care for genres, to be honest with you. I just like to play the music that I like to play.”
