East Atlanta's Mercer Street Meals wants to provide high-quality takeout that's affordable and accessible

Restaurants have come roaring back after the worst of the COVID-19 pandemic, and plenty of diners are thrilled. But one chef saw the pandemic’s challenges as an insight into every family’s struggle to get dinner on the table, night after night.

Chef Lance Gummere owns and runs Mercer Street Meals, now a brick-and-mortar East Atlanta kitchen serving high-quality takeout meals at affordable prices, designed to make dinner at home a little more special.
