“A distinctly American cacophony” is among the colorful descriptors introducing the Atlanta debut solo exhibition for the multimedia artist Navin Norling at Johnson Lowe Gallery through September 9.

Navin Norling: Dirty Legacy” gathers sculptural installations and paintings by an artist who expresses his journey through Americana with found objects, bricolage, remixed signage and typography, and a rich blend of high-impact imagery.

In this interview, the artist joined “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes to talk more about the works of “Dirty Legacy.”

“Dirty Legacy” is on view at Johnson Lowe Gallery through September 9 and more information is available here.
