Fairburn mentorship program hosts hair braiding camp, creates a safe space for tween girls

About 30 minutes south of Atlanta, a small group of middle- and high-school girls is practicing hairstyles on mannequin heads at the Fairburn Youth Center.

Here, a mentorship program for young girls is creating a safe space for them to explore self-expression, learn new skills, and make friends through a hair braiding camp.
