Fulton County Libraries Begin Phased Reopening, Beginning This Week

Public libraries across the nation last year were forced to close due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

That includes more than 30 branches in Fulton County.

Last year, “Closer Look” host Rose Scott spoke with Gayle Hunter Holloman, executive director for the Fulton County Library System, about the decision to close the libraries’ physical doors.

On Thursday, Holloman returned to the program for a conversation about the system’s new phased reopening plan.
