Local leaders have called the FBI raid last week on Fulton County’s elections center unprecedented, criminal, and even President Donald Trump’s “sore loser’s crusade.”

Fulton Commissioner Marvin Arrington Jr. sat down with WABE’s “Morning Edition” to discuss the latest on the legal challenge to get the ballots back, including filing a motion to protect sensitive voter information. But Arrington Jr. didn’t shy away from his dismay and shock over what he called an “attack on the fabric of the election process.”

Agents seized hundreds of boxes of ballots, voter rolls and other records tied to the 2020 election, which Trump has repeatedly insisted was stolen. That’s despite multiple recounts and audits confirming his loss to former President Joe Biden.
