Furkids gives pets a second chance. You give a pet a home.

Furkids is a sanctuary for homeless animals and people who love them. Furkids rescues defenseless animals; provides medical care, emotional nurturing, and training; and matches animals to families with forever homes. Its volunteer programs provide healing and growth for people who are strengthened by the human-animal bond.  Furkids programs include:

  • Matchmaking: Through multiple programs, service projects, fostering, dog and cat shelters, and 13 adoption centers, Furkids matches human and furry friends forever.
  • Open doors: Furkids has unique, rewarding service opportunities for children, adults, and group volunteers. Its shelters are a welcome destination for everyone.
  • Health, wellness, socialization, and training: With vet care, neutering, inoculations and micro-chipping, Furkids partnerships with the cat-centric Jackson Galaxy Foundation and dog trainer Alex Andes help shy or frightened animals become more adaptable and adoptable.
  • Education: Furkids has the largest population of FIV+ cats and educates people about living happily with these amazing animals.

Furkids has about 1,000 cats and dogs waiting for forever homes.  Be the way home for one of them.  Or two!  Learn more at www.furkids.org.
