Georgia Singer Michelle Malone Weathers ‘Slings And Arrows’ On New Album

Georgia singer-songwriter Michelle Malone wanted to put the power of her live performances on tape. So she recorded her new record, “Slings and Arrows” live in the studio.

The conflict hinted in the title plays out over the course of an album that is at once rollicking and introspective.

“It took me all this time to figure out that I’m at my best at a show,” she tells City Lights producer Myke Johns, “I just don’t think as much and I’m able to connect to that part of myself that just goes.”
