Gas prices continue to surge across the country, and Georgia is no exception. The average price for a gallon of regular gas in the state is $3.60. That’s a 9-cent jump from last week. AAA spokesperson Jessica Brady says there are several reasons for the price hike.
“Everything from increased tensions overseas with Iran to domestic supply disruptions, tropical storms, you name it,” Brady says, “It seems like everything has happened and all of this converged and has led to what we’re paying now.”
