In a last-ditch effort, Georgia lawmakers are busy reviewing legislation ahead of Crossover Day.

On Wednesday’s edition of “Closer Look,” WABE’s politics reporter Rahul Bali gave an update on the latest bills to advance through the legislature, including a bill that would allow Georgia voters to decide whether sports betting should be allowed and a bill that would put new requirements in place for the state’s film tax credit program.

He also discussed the recent retirement announcement of Democratic Georgia State Senate Minority Leader Gloria Butler.
