Georgia officials seek out Google and Twitter to establish headquarters in State

As California based companies look for cheaper places to do business, State officials are pitching Georgia as a place to get more bang for the buck.

The past year, State official have headed West to knock on the doors of Google, Twitter and Boeing.  Their message, come to Georgia where you can do business cheaper.  For technology firms, the savings can be up to 30% according to this week’s Business Chronicle.

But the pitch extends beyond a less expensive lifestyle.  Economic developers say they’re offering abundant office space, extensive broadband infrastructure, and a young/skilled workforce.
