A Georgia delegation of about a dozen people headed to a rally in Washington, D.C., to support DACA. While the Supreme Court heard arguments about the policy on Tuesday, thousands rallied outside of the court in support of the program.
DACA, or Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, allows certain undocumented immigrants who came to the U.S. as children to apply for two-year renewable work permits.
The program is not a path to citizenship. The Trump administration attempted to end the program in 2017. The administration says the Obama administration unconstitutionally implemented the program.
