Brien Engel is a musician in Atlanta that plays a myriad of instruments including wine glasses filled with water. Combining many glasses tuned at different pitches Brien plays what is known as the glass harp. Like the action of a bow to a violin string, a finger pulled gently across the rim of a glass will alternately ‘catch and release’ producing a unique sound. It’s also a fun party trick.
