Renée Lawless is a veteran Broadway actress, but it’s her role on a scripted television drama that’s earned her national recognition.
She plays Katheryn Cryer on the hit Oprah Winfrey Network show “The Haves and the Have Nots,” a series created, written and directed by Atlanta’s own Tyler Perry. Katheryn Cryer is among the titular “Haves” of the program, a matriarch worth millions of dollars.
