COVID-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus, has reached metro Atlanta. Public health officials have confirmed multiple cases in metro area counties, and they say they expect more.

The disease, which was first detected in China late last year, has killed thousands and sicked tens of thousands of others around the world, including some here in the U.S.

WABE wants to hear how COVID-19 is affecting you and your life. We also want to know what questions you have about the disease: how to prepare for it, how to prevent it, how to treat it.

Are you a healthcare worker who feels your workplace is under-prepared? Are you worried that your child’s school might be closed if the disease spreads? Have your travel plans been interrupted by the disease? Do you have COVID-19 or do you know someone who does?

Your answers in the form below will help WABE tell local, in-depth stories about how COVID-19 is affecting your community.

We appreciate you sharing your story with us and take your privacy seriously. WABE is gathering this information for our reporting, not for publication. Submissions will be reviewed by WABE reporters and editors, who may follow up for additional information. Your personal information (name, phone number, email address, location) will not be shared or broadcast without your consent.
