Georgia has one of the largest and most diverse populations of women military veterans nationwide. It’s only expected to grow. To better serve their complex needs, the VA health system has expanded its programs to include care for trauma and other mental health conditions before, during and after pregnancy. WABE is documenting the ways that women veterans, their loved ones, health providers and advocates are coming together to support veterans.
