The mayor of the Atlanta suburb of Johns Creek will serve as president of the Georgia Municipal Association.
Authorities say Johns Creek Mayor Mike Bodker on Sunday was sworn in as the 83rd president of the association during the group’s annual conference in Savannah.
The Georgia Municipal Association represents municipal governments in Georgia.
