Sascha Demerjian understands that loss of any kind can be hard and complicated. She believes there is no right or wrong way to grieve.

As the co-founder and executive director of The Grief House Atlanta, Demerjian welcomes people who are navigating the ongoing process of loss by fostering an environment where people can be with their community.

“We wanted a space where no one was going to ask you “How long ago did your loved one die?’ or “Wait a minute, you didn’t have a loved one die, but you’re so upset,” explained Demerjian. “We didn’t want to have any of that, and just let people come with their grief and their messiness and their rawness and practice being with that.”
