Atlanta’s Terri Ellis-Ewing is a lifelong friend of Vice President Kamala Harris.
Ellis-Ewing didn’t travel to D.C. for the inauguration due to the coronavirus pandemic. Instead, she watched it on television with the rest of America and the world.
When Lisa Rayam, WABE’s host of “Morning Edition,” spoke with Ellis-Ewing right after Wednesday’s ceremony, she was enveloped with emotion.
