‘Marketplace’ Host Kai Ryssdal On DC Budget Wars, President Trump And More
Kai Ryssdal is the host of “Marketplace,” which is heard each weekday at 6:30 p.m. on 90.1 FM WABE.
He is also a graduate of Emory University.
Ryssdal was back in Atlanta recently for a visit to the WABE studios. He and WABE’s “Morning Edition” host Denis O’Hayer had a conversation before an audience that included members of the station’s Cornerstone Society.
The exchange covered a lot of ground, including the government funding and debt wars in Congress; President Donald Trump’s sometimes-conflicting trade positions; and the importance of giving more Americans a better economic education.
