MARTA will officially launch its on-demand transit service MARTA Reach on Saturday.

The new service is free to ride from March 7-28. Fares will be $2.50 after that, once the new Breeze fare payment system goes live.

How does MARTA Reach work?

Reach will bring transportation directly to the rider’s location and provide curb-to-curb travel, or access to a broader bus and transit system, according to a Monday press release.
