The Partnership for Southern Equity (PSE) recently released a new report titled “Broken From The Start: An Analysis of Atlanta’s Tax Allocation Districts and Their Impacts on Communities of Color.”
The report aims to explore how the use of property tax incentives in metro Atlanta has contributed to displacement and other racial economic disparities.
On Thursday’s edition of “Closer Look,” show host Rose Scott talked about the report with PSE’s founder and CEO Nathaniel Smith, lead researcher William Smith and Sterling Johnson, who serves as the director of PSE’s Just Opportunity portfolio.
