How many years have you been in Atlanta?

“1.5.”

Why is the work WABE does in amplifying Atlanta vital to our communities?

“Feeling informed helps you feel connected with your community, and I hope WABE continues to strive toward sharing stories that engage Atlantans into wanting to better understand their community.”

What’s your favorite part about being a part of the WABE team?

“Working with folks at different stages of their career and coming from such different backgrounds … and prying Rose Scott for restaurant recommendations.”

What makes Atlanta “Atlanta”? What makes the Greater Metro area special?

“Before Atlanta, I had never lived somewhere with such a widespread feeling of gratitude. I’m not sure why that is but it’s evident even when talking with strangers.

I also have to highlight Buford Highway Farmers Market and the Curb Market for being such beautiful, thoughtful places built up by generations of Atlantans from around the world. And the history and design of Noguchi Playscapes that make it the wonder it is.”
