Podcast, ‘The Seventh Daughter,’ Is A Callback To The Golden Age Of Radio

Before television, families would gather around their radios for dramatic and comic entertainment. Atlanta filmmaker and podcast creator, Bret Wood, harkens back to the golden age of radio drama with his new podcast series, “The Seventh Daughter.”

Atlanta actor and singer Minka Wiltz stars in the series. Wiltz and Wood spoke with “City Lights” senior producer, Claire Reynolds. To start, Wood laid out the story of “The Seventh Daughter.”

In the first week since its launch, the series has been downloaded almost 64,000 times. All 10 episodes are available now on Apple Podcast and iHeartRadio.
