Director Roderick Red details his documentary “The Defenders,” screening at the year’s Morehouse Human Rights Film Festival and airing on WABE -TV as part of the “Atlanta on Film” series this coming Monday. Then, the next installment of our series, “Atlanta’s Savory Stories.” Food contributors Chef Asata Reid and Akila McConnell tell us about the food that fueled the civil rights movement. Plus, City Lights senior producer Kim Drobes brings us the story of a collaborative film between Morehouse College students and MTV.
