- 0:00: Rose gives a news brief on the death of Pedro Arriago Santoya, who died while in U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody at Stewart County Detention Center in Columbus, Georgia.
- 2:19: Billboard recently named Kennesaw State University’s Joel A. Katz Music and Entertainment Business Program (MEBUS) one of its “top music business schools” of the year for the second year in a row. The program was featured alongside some of the country’s most prestigious programs from Syracuse University to the Berklee College of Music. Founded in 2010, Kennesaw University’s program has gained notoriety for giving students the opportunity to take classes with professional actors and Grammy award-winning artists. The Closer Look team recently paid a visit to MEBUS Program Director and senior lecturer Keith Perissi, and Dani Klekot, a student in the program, to learn more about what sets KSU’s Music Business and Entertainment program apart.
