New reentry program aims to help Henry County inmates; Proposed legislation could negatively impact Georgia’s Unemployment Insurance Trust Fund

Morehouse School of Medicine and the Henry County Sheriff’s Office are partnering together to provide tools and resources for people who were formerly incarcerated. Dr. Angelita Howard, the founding assistant dean of the Online Education and Expanded Programs at Morehouse School of Medicine, and TaMarlon T. Carter, the director of the Henry County Sheriff’s Office Restorative Center, discuss the creation of a new reentry program.
