Lighting Up The City: Lantern Parade, Amplify Decatur, Dogwood Festival, and more (April 11- 14)
Sammie is gearing up to illuminate the city with excitement! She’s eagerly anticipating the Sandy Springs Lantern Parade, a vibrant event where families showcase their handcrafted lanterns, revel in the sun set, and parade down to Morgan Falls Overlook Park. Additionally, she’s thrilled about Amplify Decatur in Downtown Decatur, featuring performances by two-time Grammy Award winner Melissa Etheridge, Run Katie Run, and the talented winners of Decatur High School’s Battle of the Bands.
Meanwhile, Mike has his sights set on Al Dente: The Design of Pasta at MODA, an exhibit which promises to delve into the delicious world of pasta design. Afterward, he’s looking forward to exploring the Atlanta Dogwood Festival’s Fine Artist Market, offering a diverse array of sculptures, paintings, pottery, jewelry, photography, and much more.
