Although Aubrey Logan is a frequent featured performer with Postmodern Jukebox, she’ll take the stage on her own Tuesday at Eddie’s Attic.

Aubrey Logan may be the most awarded musician you haven’t heard of … yet.

In 2009, she won the Audience’s Choice Award and the Jury’s First Place Award at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland.

Her single “Pity Party” recently placed first in the jazz division of the USA Songwriting Competition.

With those honors alone, one would assume she is a straight-ahead jazz artist.

Listening to her 2017 album “Impossible,” however, you soon recognize that her interests and talent range well beyond jazz.

“City Lights” host Lois Reitzes spoke with Logan about her musical influences as well as her extensive work with Postmodern Jukebox.

Logan performs Tuesday at Eddie’s Attic in Decatur.
