Sometimes, reserve members of the Georgia National Guard have to leave their job and family at the drop of a dime. A federal law helps ease some of the stress brought by the commitment to serve.
Lt. Col. Manny Haldopoulos is a first officer with Atlanta-based Delta Airlines. He flies Boeing 767 aircraft on domestic and international flights. Before Delta hired him in 2000, he did a 10 year active duty tour in the military.
Now in reserve duty, Haldopoulos still gets the call.
