Sangeetayan hosts workshops and concerts celebrating Indian classical music. They also aim to digitize compositions, performances and music lessons.

This Sunday, they will present a special concert with revered classical music vocalist Pandit Jasraj, who also runs a school for Indian classical music here in Atlanta.

Pritam and Prithwiraj Bhattacharjee, who are also trained musicians, spoke with WABE’s Lois Reitzes on “City Lights” about their organization and about the tenets of classical music.
