Personal Rapid Transit pods will soon make their debut near Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Airport, two years after the Airport Community Improvement Districts pilot program announced an automated transit network pilot program.
Officials officially broke ground on the Automated Transit Network Demonstration Pilot in early February.
The pilot will serve as a test ground while MARTA conducts a feasibility study on a possible expansion throughout Atlanta’s Southside.
