On the “City Lights” series “Speaking of Music,” local musicians share work and stories in their own voices. In today’s segment, we feature singer-songwriter Ben Trickey.
He is a Southern indie songwriter and musician from Alabama, but he is now Atlanta-based. His band mixes experimental, country and slowcore music.
“It’s really about creating an atmosphere of intensity for language and poetry, just trying to take feelings and create something beautiful and transcend,” Trickey said.
