Chelsea Szegidewicz, professionally known as Chelsea Shag, is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and music producer in Atlanta. She calls her music “raw, very authentic to me, playful, sweet, soulful, rockin’, funky.” Shag adeptly plays guitar, drums, bass, and piano and possesses enviable vocal chops.
She also approaches music from the perspective of therapy. She creates musical sound baths using crystal quartz singing bowls, in addition to creating funk, soul, and rock music for a more nightlife-based music scene.
“What motivates and inspires me is connection with others, the dance of relationship,” says Shag. She describes finding music as an emotional processing space, writing songs for release.
