Spelman grad earns undergraduate degree while currently serving in the U.S. Air Force
Air Force Reservist Rabiah Hubert describes her undergraduate academic journey as unique. Hubert says she always wanted to attend a historically black college or university (HBCU), and attending Spelman College has been a dream come true.
But even though the psychology major won’t be able to attend her graduation later this month, she says she’ll be rooting for her Spelman sisters.
Hubert, who is a Spelman’s Class of 2024 Top Ten Scholars and Majors, was a guest on Thursday’s edition of “Closer Look.”
She talked with host Rose Scott about her journey as a non-traditional transfer student and how she balanced her undergraduate schoolwork while currently serving in the U.S. military.
She also talked about reenlisting and her career plans to work in industrial organization psychology.
