Spelman College President Discusses Reopening Plans

As institutions of higher education work to finalize their plans for the upcoming 2020-21 academic school year, faculty and staff at Spelman College are preparing to welcome students for both in-person and virtual classes next month.
Spelman College President Mary Schmidt Campbell says it’s all a part of a phased reopening plan that was approved by the college’s board of trustees called Spelman’s Path Forward.
On Monday’s edition of “Closer Look,” Schmidt Campbell explained what incoming and returning students can expect this semester. She also talked with the show’s host Rose Scott about the immediate actions faculty and staff are taking to keep everyone safe during the pandemic.
