Veteran filmmaker Spike Lee is creating a pathway for the next generation of film industry leaders.

The “He Got Game” filmmaker has teamed up with The Gersh Agency to launch the Spike Fellows Program.

On Tuesday’s edition of “Closer Look,” Atlanta University Center Consortium Executive Director Michael Hodge and Dr. Stephane Dunn, a writer, filmmaker, and Morehouse professor, spoke about the experience, exposure and hands-on training that five students from the Atlanta University Center Consortium will receive through the fellowship program.

“These young people are so bright, so deep, so talented so enthusiastic,” said Hodge. “They are true creators in all senses of the world whether in business or film. This is going to be great.”
