Recently, 13-year-old Graham Driscoll had some questions for his mother about his grandmother.

Instead of serving as her mother’s biographer, Graham’s mom thought it might be a good idea for Graham to interview his grandmother himself at the StoryCorps Atlanta booth.

So, a couple of weeks ago, Graham sat down with his Nana to learn a little bit about her childhood and how she feels about being an only child also.

This story was recorded in partnership with the Atlanta History Center, which hosts Atlanta’s StoryCorps Booth
