John Haber, the chief strategy officer for Transportation Insight at Spend Management Experts, says 30% of cargo in the United States moves by cargo.

Everything that moves on the rails can’t be moved to trucks; there aren’t enough trucks,” explained Haber.

On Tuesday’s edition of “Closer Look,” Haber talked with program host Rose Scott about the latest global supply chain news, the state of the shipping industry amid skyrocketing inflation and the looming possibility of a rail strike.

“There are blank sailings all over the place,” said Haber.
