Fifteen years ago, a giant cartoon light bulb switched on over the head of Chantelle Rytter, and fortunately, the light is still on. The annual Atlanta Beltline Lantern Parade‘s creator, Rytter, and her Krewe of the Grateful Gluttons are celebrating the anniversary in style.

The Lantern Parade is free, open to all, and takes place May 3 on the Beltline’s Southwest Trail, with an “All-Band Puppet Jam” afterparty to follow.

Rytter joined “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes to talk about this milestone in communal creativity for Atlanta.
