On Aug. 10, Atlanta-based public art institution Tiny Doors ATL released a new remote-learning lesson plan geared toward children of all ages.

The lessons were born out of a collaboration between Tiny Doors ATL founder and artist Karen Singer and local art teacher Kyra Sampson.

Together the two developed their teacher-accredited lesson plan, which is available free to any educator or student who is interested.

Singer and Sampson joined “City Lights” host Lois Retizes for a conversation about the lesson plan and the importance of childhood arts education.
