Researchers at the University of Georgia are learning more about native bats by seeing how they glow under ultraviolet light.
The new study from the UGA Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources found that six different species emit a greenish light when exposed to UV rays.
But unlike other mammals, researcher Briana Roberson says it’s not their fur that’s glowing.
