The Village Theatre is celebrating Women’s History Month with a 10-day celebration called “Hysterical: Women in Comedy.”

Each night, over 20 female and gender non-binary comedians will take to the stage to improvise various shows. One of the shows in the series will be “Improvised Vagina Monologues” a powerful, one of a kind, all-women’s improvised version of the ’90s hit play by Eve Ensler.

This particular show will benefit the Feminists Women’s Health Center, with a majority proceeds from a raffle and ticket sales being donated.

Cayla Priest, producer of the Women’s History Month program at Village Theater and Sara Bresee, director of the “Improvised Vagina Monologues” joined Lois Reitzes in studio to discuss this series.
