Vice President Kamala Harris is holding a presidential campaign rally at Georgia State University’s Convocation Center in Atlanta.
It’s Harris’ 15th visit to Georgia since assuming the vice presidency and her sixth in 2024. Tuesday’s visit is her first since she became the presumptive Democratic nominee for president following President Joe Biden’s withdrawal from the race earlier this month.
The rally will feature a performance by Megan Thee Stallion and appearances by U.S. Sens. Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock, Georgia Democratic Party Chair and U.S. Rep. Nikema Williams of Georgia and other notable local Democratic political figures.
