Which Georgia education bills are moving ahead as the 2025 legislative session ends?

By Sine Die, the last day of the 2025 Georgia legislative session, state lawmakers passed several high-profile education bills, including a massive school safety measure and a bill that would bar transgender students from participating in sports teams that align with their gender identity.

Lawmakers have also advanced other bills related to student attendance, pedagogy and personal device usage.
