The Atlanta Science Festival returns this year from March 10-25, and the programming will include several exciting events at the crossroads of science and art.

There’s a competition for inventors of new musical instruments, a panel presentation by world-traveling science explorers and the Ruben Nube show inspired by Rube Goldberg machines.

In this interview, Meisa Salaita, the co-executive director and co-founder of the festival, joined “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes to speak more about it.
