It was a big weekend for football and soccer fans at Atlanta’s new Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
On Sunday night, quarterback Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons built up a big halftime lead and went on to beat the Green Bay Packers, 34-23, before a sell-out crowd in the first regular-season NFL game at their new home.
