Atlanta’s New Recycling Center Goes Beyond Bottles And Cans

The Center for Hard to Recycle Materials (CHarM) opens on April 18 in Atlanta. A project of Live Thrive Atlanta, the non-profit Center offers a permanent location to recycle and reuse a variety of materials and products that may otherwise go into the trash, and then the water supply.

We stopped by CHarM recently to talk with Live Thrive Board President Nick Niespodziani and Executive Director Peggy Whitlow Ratcliffe and learn more about the Center, how it works, and why it’s needed.
