The president of Emory University says he will step down next year.
James Wagner made the announcement on Friday. Wagner says he will leave the position at the end of August 2016.
Wagner has been at the university for 12 years. His work included Emory’s largest fundraising campaign, raising $1.7 billion and developing the university’s first vision statement.
