Central Georgia Coalition of Black Businesses to host new business expo

According to Lending Tree, Atlanta and the metro area have the highest rate of Black-owned businesses in the U.S.

The rate sits at 7.4 percent, which is more than twice the national average.

Census data also shows Georgia saw a 40 percent increase in Black-owned businesses between February 2020 and August 2021.
